Time of Hope is a book by C. P. Snow, published by Macmillan in 1958. It is a reprint of the original work from 1949. It is the first novel in the Strangers and Brothers series, which follows the life and career of Lewis Eliot, a fictional lawyer and politician. The book is set in the 1920s and 1930s, and deals with the themes of ambition, love, and class. The book chronicles the early years of Eliots life, from his childhood in a provincial town, to his education at Cambridge, to his marriage and career in London. The book contains 416 pages.
